COSAR has grown mainly as an exporting honey cooperative, and, as a consequence, its actions are directed towards the satisfaction of the highest demands from customers all around the world.
The implementation of quality principles and the unanimous recognition of purchasers have been natural due to the essential characteristics of our honey and the commitment to the standards. All this is supported by the traceability of our honey and the application of processes.
Responding the cooperative nature of the Organization, we participate in different LatAm networks of producers enabling us to enter into differential markets that maximize the profitability of COSAR’s associates.
Our export destinations are: Japan, USA, Germany, France, Italy, England, among others. Our honey is packed in new 340 kg. barrels, classified according to its color and analyzed to ensure it is pure and innocuous. Then, the barrels are consolidated in containers upon each customer’s demands and sent to the port and to the final destination.
